Hi Bren, it’s Joel again. I need a rear wheel and brake hub for my 1985 XR350, you may remember I bought the rockers, head, and front fender from you. When I put mine together it ate a new rear bearing which is how it was when I got it, so something is up with it. If you still have the one you listed and it’s not f****d up was wondering if you’d sell it for $50.00. Thanks again, hopefully this is all that’s messed up for now. By the way all the other stuff worked out great, bike is put together and runs awesome.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly-------what kind of condition are both items in , and do you have any idea of the history of the bike they were removed from/or are still on and could kick over to confirm it still has spark? Not trying to be a pain , but have had mixed results with used electrical components in the past------I have actually purchased from you a couple of times in the past and was very satisfied with the deals. If you feel that these are functioning , usable parts , please send me an invoice and I will be happy to wrap the deal up with Paypal. Thanks again , Mark.

Do you still have the full headlight assembly for the 82 GPz750? What I'm really looking for is the nacel - or the black plastic piece the headlight attaches to and all the wiring runs into. If it has any cracks I wouldn't want it - I already have a cracked one.

I require the following, tach, speedo, ign switch with key, headlight bucket, headlight, headlight ears (x2), tailight and bracket, right passenger foot peg, the `250 dt` missing on my left fearring, the washer that holds the rear fender in place (pointed out in the picture) and if possible a front fender like the white 250 with the slots in it.

however, my husband refers to it as a crank trigger.

Hello
I was on your website looking for parts for my 1982 Yamaha MX 80 and i found a few parts. But before i consider purcahsing them, i was wondering if the pirices were final (Im only 15 and i dont really have hundreds of dollars for parts)
The parts i was looking for were:
a rear tire and front fork seals.
If you could give me your location i could arrange for them to get picked up.
I was also wondering if you would trade one of the parts for a frame from the same bike, i got this frame from a salvaged bike dealer in williams lake, british columbia, canada. It was a full bike but the motor didnt run. The motor got thrown out when i was working on it at school. so now i just have a frame. I have heard alot of good things about you and your boneyard
Im From Smithers, BC Canada and we only have a honda dealer, so i cannot access parts easily.
thank you for your time
Brandon

Hi Brendan,
First , thankyou for getting that Can-am tank to me so fast mate, great service!
What I need now is a Kick lever for my 1978 Honda CR250R. I see you have one listed. Also I would like to put an Alloy swingarm from a Can-am MX6-B on
My MX-6. Do you happen to have one?
If you could email me with the costs including shipping to Australia, that would be great.

I noticed the 175 you're parting out doesn't have them listed, but I was wondering if the other 70s XLs you're parting (that show signals) would fit the 74 as well. Hi Brendan,
I want to thank you again for the motor...it's always nice to do business with someone who is honest! I could use the handlebars and all the controls and cables. Throdel and cable, front brake lever and cable, clutch handle and cable, compression release handle and cable, kill switch. All together or just all the levers and controls minus the bars and cables. Depends on the price and condition of cables and levers etc.
Thanks again, Terry

Hiya,
Can you send me a paypal invoice for the forks for the DS7.
Are the forks in good enough shape to pass inspection? Is the crome tubing pitted out at all.
You actually gave me a quote about 6 months ago for 100 dollars with shipping on them. Does that still stand? And I may be getting back to you very shortly about the top end of the R5 that you have to, but I'm not sure if my mechanic will be willing to change the top ends of the motors over for a reasonable price. Either way I do need those forks so an invoice would be great if they are in good shape. Thank you very much.
By the way, I recomend your site to everyone I know with Vintage bikes. You have the best selection of bikes and parts from the 70's I've seen anywhere in the past year I've been searching.

Subject: .... Parts Needed ....
Hello Brendan .... my name is Dave, I spoke to you prior/recently regarding a front fender for a '75 RD350, and also with a request for a set of carbs for a '76 and/or up RD400 ....
.... I Apologize for not getting back to you sooner ... we had our first decent snowfall shortly after I had written to you, and I inadvertantly was involved in a sled mishap that has laid me up for a while ... nothing major, but enough to feel some oats (and bills) and take an absence from the garage time ... sled was totaled, but coulda been worse ...
You had written back, indicating that you might have a set of carbs from an RD350 ... would need the '76 and/or up RD400 carbs, if you don't have a set at this time, that's okay ....
Am now in need of a fuel tank for the 400 RD as well .... can be smashed, rusted, bent or bruised, just needs to hold fuel and also need the petcock .... if you have anything, would Appreciate it ...
Also, I did receive the front fender that you had sent a while back .... that was exactly what I needed, and looks Great .... Thank You Much ... by the way, the RD chrome is getting extremely difficult to come across, market is drying quickly from demand ....
If you might have the '76 or up fuel tank, would be interested to hear from you .... won't be riding for a while yet, time to get back in the swing of things with a few odds and ends ....
Thank You again, and Thank You for the front fender, you've helped me out quite a bit with this ....
Dave.

I just need to confirm that the IT175 alloy wheel comes with the brake and ideally the cable. A picture of the wheel from brake side would be excellent. (I'm mixing and matching on a project.)
If it looks like it will work for me I will be going ahead and ordering it along with the DT175 triple clamps. (I'm a previous and satisfied customer of yours.)

Hello again Brendan,
You have been very helpful to me in the past so I thought I’d check with you again. I am interested in the below items that you have listed in your inventory. It is important that they are 1968 pieces only, as it was not uncommon for later model parts to be added throughout the years by previous owners. In the interest of eliminating any confusion prior to the ordering and shipping of any parts, it would be a big help and greatly appreciated if you could please send me a picture of the parts in question. If there are any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. Let me know if you need any further clarification and I will call you. However, some good pictures should clear up any confusion.
1) Wire harness: Is this the complete harness from headlight to tail light or just the main harness. Is it uncut with all connectors attached and in good, overall condition?
2) Tail light bracket: Straight with one mounting hole instead of two on the bottom end.
) Headlight bucket assembly: Originally white in color. Is it straight and does it include the chrome ring, NON sealed headlight lens, high beam indicator lens and related wiring?
4) Battery box: Is it straight without a lot of corrosion? Although ’69 and some later years will fit, they would differ slightly in appearance from the ’68 as various production upgrades began taking place.
5) Kick arm: Is this the original ’68 or the later type?
Thank you,
Mike Hansen

Hi Brendan
I have received the GT front fender and is great, many thanks. I now want to do some more business with you and need some quotes to the UK mainland :-
Front fender plus shipping (economy and priority) for any 70s GT model (I noticed the GT 380 for $20)
Also
Standard mufflers for 70s Yamaha RD 250/ 400 either will be ok plus shipping (economy and priority), In addition I need a digital photo of these to make sure they fit UK models.
I hope I find you in good health and Montana is still as good as it looks in pictures and books

thanks again branden, this time iam back with two rd-350 road machines for the winter projects the 73 has no motor, and the 74 has a motor that turns over, the 74 was set up to be a road racer, like everything is stripped off accept the speedo, the 73 is the purple and white striped gas tank with the glued on yamaha emblem, this one is stock with one broke off blinker on the right side, and is minus one motor,he called this one a rolling chassis, the man ho sold the bike to me gave the engine to me in a box,the top-end is ok!but needs a bottom end on the crank shaft side, when pulling apart the engine everything went into this box,and there it set for while, brendan what would the post offoice ask for in shipping from your neck of the woods to wasilla the land of the birch wood,i can set myself up for a working rd-350 lower-end,can you help! and the mr-175 i been working on is running good, thanks to the pipe you sold me its cool working with you, well i got to go thanks donny

I need a left side rear foot peg and a right side plastic cover that snaps on over the starter solenoid. Do you have these parts an if so how much including shipping?
Thanks,

subject- more gt-750 parts?
from: thelma bland
to: bikeboneyard
Hi, I bought the Suzuki Gt 750 parts off of you in late June, and I recieved them UPS today, everything went fine! (You stripped the green GT750 for me)Last month you wrote back to me saying that you had a good gas tank for $50,(I don't think it was off of the metallic green bike,as it has the emblem holes filled in) I'd like to get a good tank (E-mail me to let me know) and as good a pair of correct rear view mirrors as possible (dare I say as rust free as possible). I am still looking for a new or used stator for my 1985 KTM 250, also. Any help on that? Thanks for your time, Warren Bland

Thank you Brendan, I appreciate your follow though and honesty. I'll be back for more parts as the need arises.
